GM Starter Bendix factory
The GM starter bendix is installed between the engine and the manual transmission, and is responsible for transmitting the power of the engine to the manual transmission. When the GM starter bendix pedal is released, the pressure plate inside the flywheel is lifted by the spring, and the pressure skin is disengaged from the friction plate.
